Hawaiian Chicken Satays

  1. Cut chicken into long strips and about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Mix marinade ingredients and marinate chicken strips for 2 to 4 hour.
  3. Deseed and cut the bell pepper into large chunks.
  4. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 1 hour.
  5. Thread the pineapples, bell pepper and chicken on to the skewers.
  6. (discard the marinade)
  7. Set up your grill for Direct Heating.
  8. Take a strip of heavy duty tin foil and fold it over to make a Grill Shield, to protect the handles of the skewers.
  9. Grill about 5 to 6 minutes, flip over and grill about 5 minutes more.
