Tomato Curry - Full of Beans
- 100 grams Minced pork
- 2 tbsp White wine (or sake)
- 1/2 Carrot
- 1 Onion
- 1 stalk Celery
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoon Curry powder
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 packet Your choice of pre-cooked beans
- 1/2 can Canned tomatoes
- 200 ml Water
- 1 cube Consomme bouillon
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1/2 to 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 Spices and herbs of your choice
- Mince the vegetables.
- Heat 1.5 tablespoon oil in a pot, and cook the meat.
- When browned, stir in the wine.
- Add vegetables and cook until tender.
- Add curry powder, flour, salt and pepper (not listed) and blend until the dry ingredients are well incorporated.
- Add the ingredients marked with , simmer for about 20 minutes, then serve.
- "Izumiuna" garnished the curry generously with lettuce, cheese, and a sunny-side up.
- I used a 400 g can of cut tomatoes and drained the water.
- That also worked well.
- I also tried this recipe with a mound of summer vegetables such as zucchini, eggplant and new potatoes.
