Diner Tuna Melts
- 4 slice Bread
- 4 slice Cheese, mild cheddar
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 can Tuna (6oz)
- 1 tbsp Onions, finely diced
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp plain yellow Mustard
- 1/8 tsp Seasoned salt
- 1/8 tsp Lemon pepper
- 1 tbsp finely diced Pickles (optional)
- Drain tuna and mix with the other ingredients, refrigerate until needed.
- Preheat griddle over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of the slices of bread.
- Place bread on the griddle butter side down.
- Add a slice of cheese to each one.
- Grill for approximately 4 or 5 minutes.
- Until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
- Remove from the grill and add tuna salad.
- Serve with your favorite sides.
