Oatmeal Flax Breakfast Squares
- 3 cups quick oats
- 34 cup whole wheat flour
- 34 cup flax seed meal
- 34 cup dried apple (chopped into small pieces)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups walnuts
- 1 12 cups applesauce
- 12 cup olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 14 cup Splenda granular, sugar blend
- 12 cup Splenda brown sugar blend
- Mix all the wet ingredients then add in all the dry ingredients.
- Personally, I don't chop my walnuts, I find that they get pretty minced up if I add them in as a first dry ingredient while using my Kitchenaide.
- I would chop them first if you are mixing by hand.
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Grease a 9x13-inch pan and pour in the mixture.
- Bake for 20 - 30 minutes.
