Pineapple Macadamia Nut Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  3. Using a fork, mix together nuts, drained pineapple tidbits, soda and salt. Add shortening and hot crushed pineapple.
  4. Mix all together well. Beat eggs; beat in vanilla and sugar.
  5. Stir in flour.
  6. Add pineapple mixture and stir just until well blended.
  7. Pour into prepared pan and bake 1 hour or until bread tests done.
  8. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
  9. Bread may be served warm or cold.
  10. Makes 1 loaf.
