Chicken Supreme
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. uncooked Creamettes
- 2 c. milk
- 2 c. diced, cooked chicken (tuna, shrimp, crab or ground beef)
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 1 jar pimentos, drained and chopped
- 1 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1 small can mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
- dash of pepper (optional)
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Refrigerate overnight.
- Turn into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
- Cover with foil if it gets too brown.
- Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
- You may use Velveeta or Old English cheese on top.
- Serves 12 generously.
