Quick Simmered Shabu-Shabu Pork and Mizuna Greens
- 300 grams Thinly sliced pork for shabu-shabu
- 1 bag Mizuna greens
- 1 pack Enoki mushrooms
- 1/2 Carrot
- 200 ml Water
- 4 tbsp Mentsuyu (2x concentrate)
- 1 tbsp Grated ginger
- Chop the mizuna greens into 5 cm long lengths.
- Cut the root ends off the shimeji mushrooms.
- Cut the carrot into thin rectangular slices.
- Combine the water and mentsuyu and bring to a boil.
- Put in the vegetables from Step 1 and simmer.
- Add the meat and cook it quickly while untangling the pieces.
- Turn off the heat, transfer the simmered ingredients to plates and serve with grated ginger.
- Mix the ginger in as you eat it.
