Roasted Red Pepper Sauce for Pasta

  1. Place all ingredients except basil in blender or food processor container; cover.
  2. Blend until pureed.
  3. Stir in basil.
  4. Pour into saucepan; heat thoroughly on low heat.
  5. Toss with hot cooked pasta.
  6. Makes 2 cups sauce (enough for 12 oz.
  7. cooked pasta).
