Barbecued Beef Jerky Recipe
- 3 lb Lean beef, (fland, round or possibly sirloin tip)
- 1 c. Catsup
- 1/2 c. Red wine vinegar
- 1/4 c. Brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp Dry mustard
- 1 tsp Onion pwdr
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Cracked pepper
- 1 dsh Warm pepper sauce
- Cut beef into strips 1/2 inch thick.
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a large glass baking dish.
- Add in strips of beef, cover and chill overnight.
- Drain beef slices.
- Dry in an electric dehydrator at 145 till pliable.
- Package in home canning jars, food-grade plastic bags or possibly seal-by-heat food storage bags.
