Chicken With Pilaf Recipe
- 2 1/2 lbs. chicken pcs
- Garlic salt
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- Salt & pepper
- 4 tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. long grain rice
- Rub chicken pcs with garlic salt.
- Place in greased 13"x9" baking pan and coat with sauce.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle with butter.
- Add in 1/2 c. water; bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 min, turning chicken once.
- Add in remaining water and rice.
- Lightly stir to distribute rice proportionately.
- Cover with aluminum foil and continue baking for 30 min, or possibly till done.
- Turn oven off for 15 min before removing chicken from oven.
- Serves 4.
