Prime Southwestern Burger with A.1. Steak Sauce
- 24 each beef patties (80/20), 8 oz. each
- to taste salt and pepper
- 24 slices cheddar cheese slices (1/2 oz.)
- 24 each brioche sandwich rolls, split
- 1-1/2 cups unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cups A.1. Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce
- 24 leaves leaf lettuce leaves
- 6 each tomatoes, cut into 8 slices King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- breaded jalapeno pepper slices, fried
- 3 cups guacamole
- Season beef patties with salt and pepper.
- For each serving: Cook 1 beef patty on medium-high heat 6 min.
- on each side or to medium (160 degrees F), or desired doneness.
- Top with 1 cheese slice; continue cooking just until melted.
- Meanwhile, brush cut sides of 1 roll with 1 Tbsp.
- butter; toast on griddle.
- Spread each cut side of roll with 1 Tbsp.
- steak sauce.
- Top bottom half of roll with 1 lettuce leaf, 2 tomato slices, burger, 1/2 oz.
- jalapeno slices and 2 Tbsp.
- guacamole; cover with top of roll.
