Swiss Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Combine cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  3. Press into bottom and sides of 8-inch pie plate.
  4. Cook bacon; drain and crumble.
  5. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons bacon drippings.
  6. Add chopped onion to drippings.
  7. Cook until tender. Add the bacon, onion, Swiss cheese, eggs, sour cream, salt and pepper.
  8. Pour into pie shell.
  9. Sprinkle with American cheese. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until an inserted knife comes out clean. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
  10. Cut.
  11. Serves 4 to 6.
