Cake Pops with a Twist
- 20 piece butter cookies/biscuits/crackers
- 1/2 cup chocolate flakes/grated chocolate
- 3 tbsp cream cheese
- 3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tbsp thick cream
- 1 milk (to fix consistency)
- 1 chocolate to coat cake pops
- Place crackers into ziplock bag and crush with a rolling pin.
- Don't make it too fine a powder.
- Put crushed cookies into a big bowl.
- Add chocolate flakes and stir.
- Set aside.
- In another bowl, place the cream cheese, condensed milk and cream with an electric mixer.
- Add combined liquids to the crushed cookie mixture.
- Mix everything well together.
- Its easier but messier to do this by hand.
- If too crumbly and dry, add a small splash of milk.
- Line a tray with wax paper.
- Roll the mixture into balls and place onto the tray.
- Put in freezer for 30 mins.
- Melt the chocolate bar in the microwave or in a bowl above boiling water.
- Stir to smooth.
- Dip the balls into chocolate and place back in the freezer for 20 mins to set up.
- Enjoy!
