Chocolate Marble Muffins
- 30 grams Almond flour
- 90 grams White flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 50 grams Margarine or butter
- 1 Egg
- 40 grams Sugar
- 60 ml Milk
- 30 grams Chocolate syrup
- 1 Almond slices, and almond extract (optional)
- *Preparation* Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Measure the ingredients.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and almond flour.
- Put the margarine, egg, and sugar into a bowl, and mix well with a whisk.
- Sift in the dry ingredients from the Step 1, and fold in with a spatula.
- Add the milk (almond extract is optional), and mix well.
- Try not to knead the mixture, just fold it in.
- Put the chocolate syrup into a small bowl.
- Add about 1/4 of the mixture from the Step 4, and mix well.
- Transfer into the Step 4 bowl, and make 1-2 big swirls.
- You can create a beautiful marble pattern if you don't work it too much.
- Divide into molds with big spoons.
- If you pour it in little by little, it will lose the nice marbled pattern, so just pour it in.
- Sprinkle almond slices on top if you have some, and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 180C.
- When you break it in half, it looks like this.
- This is a very rough marble pattern.
