Bacon Pancakes
- 2 cups starter
- 1 each eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup bacon fried and crumbled
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 x flour, all-purpose as needed
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Add egg, bacon, oil and sugar to the starter and mix briefly.
- Add flour to make desired thickness and mix until lump free.
- Just before cooking, dissolve baking soda into 1 Tablespoon of water, mix gently with batter.
- Then cook in a hot griddle by making 2 or 3 inch rounds.
- Cook for 2 to 4 minutes, turn and cook 2 more minutes.
