Loretta Bianchi's Italian Biscotti Recipe

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add in Large eggs one at a time till fluffy.
  3. Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt.
  4. Stir into butter mix till thoroughly mixed.
  5. Add in remaining ingredients and stir.
  6. Divide dough into 3 parts.
  7. Shape part into roll 1 1/2 inch diameter.
  8. Place on cookie sheet and flatten top slightly.
  9. Bake for 20 min.
  10. Remove from oven and cut into 3/4 inch slices.
  11. Return to oven, cut sides up and brown another 10-15 min.
  12. Cold on wire rack.
  13. Bake at 350 degrees.
  14. Makes 60 cookies.
