Swedish Meatballs
- 1 Tbsp. corn oil
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 lb. ground pork, veal and beef mixture or 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. beef bouillon
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. pkg. wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
- In large skillet, heat corn oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
- In large mixing bowl, mix together cooked onion, meat and next 6 ingredients until blended. Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls and place in shallow baking pan.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
