English Custard Squares

  1. Melt 2 squares chocolate and 1 stick butter in small saucepan. Add beaten egg, graham cracker crumbs, vanilla, coconut and nuts. Mix and press into an 8 x 8-inch pan.
  2. Put in refrigerator until firm.
  3. Mix 1/2 cup melted butter, confectioners sugar, instant pudding and milk.
  4. Put on top of crust.
  5. Return to refrigerator until firm.
  6. Melt 4 squares chocolate and 1 1/2 tablespoons butter.
  7. Pour over other layers. Refrigerate until firm.
  8. Keep in refrigerator because of egg.
