Boiled Red Cabbage Recipe
- 2 ounce Butter
- 1 x Red cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. Simple syrup
- 2 x Apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 x Onion, minced
- 1/4 pt Red wine Juice of one lemon Salt
- 1).
- Heat the butter in a pan and add in the shredded cabbage and syrup; brown over a low flame, stirring constantly.
- Add in the remaining ingredients, cover the pan and simmer gently for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs, stirring occasionally.
- Season to taste
