Pumpkin Praline Cake
- 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1/2 (No. 303) can mashed pumpkin (1 c.)
- 1/2 c. oil
- 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/3 c. dark brown sugar
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine, soft
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease a Bundt pan well.
- Combine cake mix, pumpkin, oil, light brown sugar, water and spices in electric mixer bowl and beat at medium speed 1 minute.
- Add eggs, one at a time, and beat after each egg another full minute.
- Pour half of batter into prepared Bundt pan.
- Top with praline mixture made by combining chopped nuts, dark brown sugar and butter.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
- May be frozen.
- Thaw at least 1 hour before serving.
