Chocolate Caramel Peanut Bars
- 1-1/2 qt. PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts, chopped, divided
- 1-1/2 qt. coarsely crushed saltines
- 1 qt. miniature marshmallows
- 1 qt. caramel ice cream topping
- - BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, coarsely chopped, melted
- Spray 2 half sheet pans (or 1 half sheet pan for trial recipe) with cooking spray.
- Mix 1 qt.
- of the peanuts (or 2 cups for trial recipe), crackers, marshmallows and caramel topping in large bowl.
- Melt chocolate in heavy saucepan on low heat, stirring constantly.
- Pour over cracker mixture; mix well.
- Spread evenly into prepared pans; sprinkle with remaining 2 cups chopped peanuts (or 1 cup for trial recipe).
- Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
- Cut into 4x1-1/2-inch bars.
- Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
