Chocolate Caramel Peanut Bars

  1. Spray 2 half sheet pans (or 1 half sheet pan for trial recipe) with cooking spray.
  2. Mix 1 qt.
  3. of the peanuts (or 2 cups for trial recipe), crackers, marshmallows and caramel topping in large bowl.
  4. Melt chocolate in heavy saucepan on low heat, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour over cracker mixture; mix well.
  6. Spread evenly into prepared pans; sprinkle with remaining 2 cups chopped peanuts (or 1 cup for trial recipe).
  7. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
  8. Cut into 4x1-1/2-inch bars.
  9. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
