Braised Mushrooms
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 shallot
- 3 large sage leaves
- 1 c. wine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. Pepper
- 1 lb. mushrooms
- In 10-inch skillet, melt butter on medium.
- Add shallot and sage leaves; cook 2 minutes.
- Add wine, salt, and pepper.
- Boil on high 1 minute.
- Stir in 1 pound halved mushrooms.
- Reduce heat to medium.
- Cover; cook 5 minutes.
- Uncover; cook 12 minutes or until tender, stirring.
