Chinese Meatballs

  1. Combine first 7 ingredients.
  2. Shape into 1-inch balls.
  3. Dredge in 1/3 cup cornstarch.
  4. Pour oil into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  5. Add meatballs.
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
  7. Drain and set aside.
  8. Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
  9. Combine sugar and 3 tablespoons cornstarch in large saucepan; mix well.
  10. Add pineapple juice, chicken broth, 2 tablespoons soy sauce and vinegar.
  11. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
  12. Add meatballs, pineapple and pepper.
  13. Heat thoroughly.
  14. Serve over rice.
