JELL-O Marshmallow Fondant

• 1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Gelatin, any flavor
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 pkg. (10 oz.) JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
• 1/2 cup shortening, divided
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 4-3/4 cups powdered sugar

1. Microwave dry gelatin mix and water in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min.

3. Add marshmallows; stir to evenly coat.
4. Microwave 3 to 4 min.
5. or until marshmallows are puffed; stir until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended.
6. (Caution: Mixture will be hot.)
7. Add 1/4 cup shortening and vanilla; stir until shortening is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
8. Gradually add sugar, mixing well after each addition.
9. Spread remaining shortening onto clean work surface.
10. Add marshmallow mixture; knead with hands until shortening is worked into fondant.
