Noodle Kugel
- 1 lb. broad noodles
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
- 1 large can pineapple, crushed
- 3 Tbsp. cottage cheese
- cinnamon
- brown sugar
- corn flakes
- raisins (optional)
- Boil noodles about 6 minutes; set aside.
- Mix well in blender 3 eggs, salt, 1 pint sour cream and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
- Melt 1/4 pound butter (margarine) in baking dish.
- After draining noodles, put them back in pan and pour in egg mixture.
- Mix well. Add one large can crushed pineapple with juice and about 3 tablespoons cottage cheese.
- Mix and pour into baking dish.
- (If you like, you may add raisins.)
- Mix some cinnamon and brown sugar together and sprinkle over top.
- Also crush some corn flakes and sprinkle on top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
- Serve with your meal.
