Pasta With Shrimp And Garlic
- 1 lb. medium shrimp
- 1/2 lb. thin spaghetti
- 1 stick sweet butter
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped red pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
- Cook pasta according to directions.
- While pasta is cooking, melt butter or margarine in a 3-quart saucepan.
- Add all ingredients, except tomatoes and cheese.
- Stir and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until shrimp are cooked.
- Add cooked spaghetti and heat through.
- Add tomatoes and stir until tomatoes are hot.
- Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
- Serve with garlic bread.
