Bread 'N' Butter Pickles Recipe

  1. In enamel or possibly stainless-steel pot, mix cucumbers, onions and salt.
  2. Let stand over night.
  3. Drain; throw away liquid.
  4. Add in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil; reduce heat.
  5. Simmer 20 min.
  6. Ladle into warm sterilized jars to 1/4 inch from top; seal.
  7. Process 15 min in a boiling-water bath if you like.
  8. Makes 4 pints.
