Banana Punch

  1. Be careful in your selection.
  2. Do not chooose too young and take only such varieties as have been reared in a good atmosphere. When once selected, let that part remain forever settled and give your entire attention to preparation for domestic use.
  3. Some insist on keeping them in a pickle, while others are constantly getting them in hot water.
  4. This only makes them sour, hard and bitter. Even poor varieties may be made sweet, tender and good by garnishing them with patience, well sweetened with smiles and flavored with kisses to taste, wrapped in love and warmed in devotion.
  5. When thus prepared, they will keep for years and improve with age.
