Delicious Easy Cobbler Recipe
- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 2 c. fruit (blackberries, cherries, rhubarb or possibly any fresh fruit in season, liquid removed frzn or possibly canned fruit)
- Place butter in 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Allow it to heat in a hot oven (250 degrees).
- While this is melting, make a batter by adding baking pwdr, 1 c. sugar and lowfat milk to flour.
- Remove baking dish from oven and proportionately spread out the butter.
- Pour batter over butter and Don't Stir.
- Add in 2 c. of fruit of your choice (for rhubarb, sprinkle a little red Jello over all).
- Sprinkle 1 c. sugar over the fruit.
- Don't stir.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 45 min.
