James Fruit Tart
- 1 kg fruit available
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar (2 tablespoons )
- 1/2 tbsp white sugar ( half tablespoon )
- 1 ground cinnamon (to taste)
- 80 grams sultanas
- 1 sweet or puff pastry
- Heat pan to medium heat and add sugar
- Place fruit in pan on top of sugar
- Cook until sugar has caramelised and fruit is cooked
- Turn fruit once
- Place in oven dish and cool
- Add pastry lid and tuck in the sides
- Bake in oven at 220 for approximately 22 mins.
- Depends on oven but until golden brown.
- If required this can be tipped upside down onto plate or as a tart.
- Serve with ice cream or custard delicious hot or cold.
