Beef Marsala Recipe
- 1 pound top beef round, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp. lightly salted butter
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, halved
- 1 1/4 c. Marsala wine or possibly other dry red wine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon dry thyme leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon dry tarragon leaves
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper
- 1 tbsp. minced green onion
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 pound green beans, slightly steamed
- Preparation time: 20 min.
- Cooking time: 15 min.
- Baking time: 1 hour at 350 degrees.
- Serves: 4.
