Austrian Goulash Recipe

  1. Saute/fry' onions in fat.
  2. Add in 1 Tbsp.
  3. paprika, and all the garlic, caraway, marjoram, salt, and lemon juice.
  4. Add in meat (don't brown).
  5. Simmer; covered for 2 hrs.
  6. Skim off fat.
  7. Blend in remaining paprika, flour, water and tomato paste.
  8. Simmer 15 min longer, allowing to come to a rolling boil.
