Swirled Holiday Cookie Pops

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Combine morsels in small bowl; set aside.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
  4. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  7. Stir in 1 c morsel mixture.
  8. Drop dough by level 1/4 c measure and 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Shape into mounds with floured fingers; press down slightly.
  10. Insert wooden stick into side of each mound.
  11. Bake for 14-16 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Cool on baking sheets on wire racks for 3 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
  13. Spread frosting on tops of cookies.
  14. Sprinkle with remaining morsels.
