Basic Spaghetti Sauce Recipe
- 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 x Onions minced
- 4 x Crushed garlic cloves or possibly
- 2 x Chopped garlic
- 14 ounce Can Tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. Red wine (optional)
- 1 x Sweet green pepper
- 1 tsp Dry leaf basil
- 1/2 tsp Leaf oregano
- Heat oil in a large saucpan set over medium heat.
- Add in onions and garlic.
- Saute/fry for 2 minutes.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Cover and bring to a boil, stirring often.
- Then, reduce heat and simmer, stirring often for at least 5 minutes.
