Holiday Candy Cookie Bites

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine brown sugar, butter, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla in bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  4. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  5. Stir in oats, chocolate pieces and baking chips.
  6. Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls into paper-lined mini muffin pans.
  7. Bake 15-17 minutes or until set and light golden brown.
  8. Let stand 2 minutes; remove from pans.
  9. Variations: Giant Candy Cookies: Prepare recipe as directed except drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  10. Flatten cookies to 3-inch diameter.
  11. Bake 13-15 minutes or until light golden brown.
  12. Let stand 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets.
  13. Yield: 18 giant cookies.
  14. Traditional Candy Cookies: Prepare recipe as directed except drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  15. Flatten cookies to 2-inch diameter.
  16. Bake 12-14 minutes or until light golden brown.
  17. Let stand 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets.
  18. Yield: 36 (2 1/2-inch) cookies.
