Cornish Game Hens With Honey

  1. Combine oil, vinegar, sherry, honey, cumin, anise and cinnamon in a small heavy saucepan.
  2. Simmer until mixture thickens slightly, stirring constantly (about 3 minutes).
  3. Salt and pepper hens generously and bursh them with glaze.
  4. Roast in 400 F oven until thigh juices run clearn when pierced (about 45-50 minutes).
  5. Be sure to baste hens with glaze every 10 minutes.
