Candi's Caramel Popcorn

  1. Combine popcorn & nuts in lightly greased roasting pan.
  2. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a large saucepan.
  4. Stir in sugar and corn syrup bring to a boil (5 minutes).
  5. Stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in soda and salt and vanilla.
  7. Pour sugar mixture over popcorn, stir until evenly coated.
  8. Bake at 250' degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  9. Cool and store in a air tight container.
