Traditional Steak Diane Recipe

  2. In saute/fry pan heat butter and dash of Worcestershire sauce.

  4. Place fillets, shallots and mushrooms in pan, add in garlic, saute/fry.

  6. Place lemon in cheesecloth and squeeze juice over steaks.
  7. Salt and pepper.
  8. 4.
  9. Season shallots and mushrooms with mustard and thyme combined.
  10. Add in minced parsley.
  11. 5.
  12. Turn steaks and saute/fry to desired doneness.
  13. 6.
  14. Add in cream (room temperature) and stir till thick.
  15. 7.
  16. Add in brandy and flame.
  17. 8.
  18. Portion onto plate, add in sauce, garnish.
