Grandma Corn Bread Recipe
- 2 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 Large eggs
- Lowfat milk
- Mix dry contents thoroughly.
- Put 9" black skillet in oven with bottom covered with vegetable oil and preheat till warm.
- While skillet is in oven start mixing Large eggs and lowfat milk into dry contents till batter is very moist and watery.
- When skillet is very warm, pour in batter and bake at 425 degrees for approximately 35 min or possibly till cornbread is done.
- Can add in jalapenos or possibly cracklins for flavor if you like.
- Be sure to use a 9" black skillet.
