I Love Liverwurst Spread
- 1/2 lb liverwurst diced roughly
- 1/2 medium onion roughly chopped
- 4 oz softened cream cheese,cubed
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp softened butter
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp celery seed
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- In a food processor pulse the onions until they are diced small.
- Add liverwurst and process until its a pate consistency.
- Add all other ingredients and continue to run processor until completely smooth.
- Transfer spread into your serving dish and refrigerate at LEAST 6 hrs.
- ( I make this two days before to allow all flavors to blend together.)
- Serve with crackers, cucumbers,celery,peppers and carrots.
- Or be a total glutton like myself and eat with a spoon.....;)
