The Kelley's Hot Fudge Sauce
- 6 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 cup baking cocoa, unsweetened
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch, mixed with 1 1/2 teaspoons water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- In a medium saucepan, melt margarine.
- Remove from heat and stir in cocoa, sugar and salt until they dissolve.
- Stir in evaporated milk and syrup until well combined.
- Stir in cornstarch mixture.
- Return to heat and bring to a boil.
- Cool sauce and stir in vanilla.
- Serve warm over ice cream.
- Can be refrigerated and warmed for future use
