Irish Lambpot
- 2 sm. onions, cut into rings
- 3 md. carrots, cubed
- 2 turnips, cubed
- 2 stalks celery, cut in rings
- 1 sm. cabbage, chopped
- 1-3/4 lb. lamb shoulder, cut into 3 cm. pieces
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 4 sm. potatoes, cubed
- 1/2 tbsp. majoram, chopped
- Put lamb into pot and cover with water.
- Season with salt and pepper and cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- Add the vegetables, garlic and potatoes and simmer another 25-30 minutes covered.
- Season with majoram and serve.
