Barbecued Ribs Oriental Recipe

  2. Cut ribs to create individual portions; sprinkle with 1 tsp.

  5. Place ribs on a rack in a shallow baking pan; bake in preheated 375'F.
  6. oven till almost tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
  7. Drain off fat.

  9. Meanwhile, dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water in a medium-size saucepan.

  11. Add in oil, pineapple, brown sugar, onion pwdr, garlic pwdr, Worcestershire sauce and remaining salt; bring to a boil.

  13. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5 min.

  15. Combine cornstarch with cool water in a small bowl; stir into sauce mix.
  16. Cook and stir till thickened.

  18. Spoon sauce over liquid removed, baked ribs.

  20. Increase oven temperature to 425'F.
  21. ; bake till nicely glazed, about 30 min.
