Pickled Green Beans Recipe

  1. Pack beans in layers in a gallon jar, adding a layer of sugar, a bit of garlic and sliced onions between each layer of beans till jar is filled.
  2. Fill jar with white vinegar.
  3. Put lid in place and gently roll the jar from side to side till the sugar dissolved.
  4. Chill and allow the beans to marinate for several days before opening.
  5. Will keep for weeks.
  6. (If using canned green beans, pour off liquid.)
