Chocolate chip cookies
- 1 cup butter
- 1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp hemp milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- Melt butter and cool slightly
- Sift together the dry ingredients
- Beat together the butter and both sugars for about 2 minutes.
- Whisk together the egg, egg yolk, milk and vanilla extract.
- Slowly add the egg mixture to the sugar mix and mix until combined.
- Then add the dry ingredients and slowly add the chips.
- Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375.
- Scoop the dough into 1 1/2 ounce portions.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
