Cuban Hot Dog

  1. Heat gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
  2. Place coals to 1 side in charcoal grill.
  3. Open buns; place 2 slices cheese into each bun.
  4. Top with 1 slice ham.
  5. Wrap stuffed buns in aluminum foil; place opposite heat on grill.
  6. Place hot dogs onto grill.
  7. Grill, turning occasionally, 5-9 minutes or until heated through.
  8. Remove buns from grill; place 1 hot dog into each bun.
  9. Place 1 pickle plank on 1 side of hot dog; spread with mustard, if desired.
