Grilled BLT Crostinis
- 1 whole Baguette
- 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/2 teaspoons Season Salt (such As Lawyrs)
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 6 slices Bacon
- 13 cups Olive Oil Mayonnaise (such As Helmans)
- 1 cup Leafy Lettuce, Any Kind
- 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, Halved
- Slice the baguette into 3/4 slices.
- Generously brush the olive oil over the top of the slices and sprinkle them with seasoned salt and pepper.
- Set aside.
- Fry bacon.
- Let cool and drain, and then cut into thirds.
- Heat grill to medium high heat.
- Put crostinis on, paying constant attention to them because they will burn if you even look away.
- After 30 seconds, check the bottom; if its nice and toasty, flip and toast the other side for about another 30 seconds.
- Take toasted crostinis, spread on the mayo and place a piece of bacon on top.
- Then add the lettuce and finally, the halved tomatoes.
