Ting-A-Lings Candy
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
- 1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles
- 1 c. salted peanuts
- 2 sticks margarine or butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 3/4 c. unbleached flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. golden raisins
- Cream together the margarine, eggs, sugar and flavoring.
- Sift the flour, include the baking powder.
- Sift one more time. Gradually add flour to margarine, eggs and sugar.
- Mix. Add milk, a little at a time.
- Add raisins.
- Grease a Bundt cake pan very well. Dust with flour all around.
- Shake out any excess flour.
- Add mix to pan slowly.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
- Insert a toothpick, to make sure it is baked through.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes on a rack!
- Then invert the pan and put cake on plate. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
- Makes 16 slices.
