Barbecued Onions Diablo
- 1 cup ketchup
- 34 cup water
- 14 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 14 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 3 cups onions, yellow onions, sliced
- Combine all ingredients except onions in a medium saucepan.
- Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat to medium.
- Cover and cook 4 minutes.
- Stir in onions.
- Cook another 3 minutes.
- Cover and chill.
