Shrimp Fried Rice With Okra Recipe
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 bell pepper, minced
- 4-6 c. sliced okra
- 1 pound shrimp
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce (more if you like)
- Seafood seasoning (to taste)
- Cut up bacon and place in frying pan with onion, pepper and okra.
- Fry approximately 10 min.
- (Add in butter or possibly oil if needed), stirring frequently.
- Add in shrimp, rice, soy sauce and seafood seasoning.
- Stir and let simmer for 5-10 min.
- Serve.
- May substitute ham for shrimp.
